Our mission
Gift 4U helps you celebrate in a personal way without printing a single card. Each digital envelope saves around two sheets of paper, reducing waste from traditional mail.
Today, you can personalize gifts with free pre-made 3D models, free static custom images, and credit-based image-to-3D conversion when you want something more custom.
Terms of Service
Credits & Prepaid Goods
Credits are prepaid digital goods that give you access to Gift 4U features. Each plan includes a monthly allotment of credits that refresh once per billing cycle.
Unused credits roll over to the next billing period until you cancel your subscription or reach the credit cap defined by your plan. Upon cancellation, any remaining credits are forfeited.
Subscription & Billing
Billing is managed by Clerk. All subscription fees are non-refundable for the current term unless required by applicable law.
You agree that by upgrading to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges to the payment method on file. You can cancel anytime from your membership settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes apply to new billing cycles only.
Content & User Responsibilities
You are responsible for all content you create, upload, or share on Gift 4U, including giftcard messages, titles, and media files. You warrant that you own or have the right to use all content you upload.
You agree not to use Gift 4U for spam, harassment, copyright infringement, or any illegal activity. Do not attempt to bulk upload, share, or resell credit packs without explicit consent.
We monitor upload sizes, playback counts, and abuse flags to protect our infrastructure and users. Violations may result in account suspension or termination without refund.
Service Availability & Modifications
We strive to keep Gift 4U running reliably, but make no guarantees of uninterrupted service. We may perform updates, maintenance, or feature changes at any time.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or pose a risk to our platform.
Limitation of Liability
Gift 4U is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Our maximum liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.
Privacy Policy
Data We Collect
Authentication, billing identity, and payment methods are handled securely by Clerk. We never store your full payment card details on our servers.
Giftcard metadata—including titles, messages, media references, and recipient information—are securely stored in Convex. Email addresses and user profiles are encrypted and access-controlled.
We collect usage analytics such as page views, feature usage, and error logs to improve our service. This data is aggregated and anonymized where possible.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to operate Gift 4U, improve our features, and prevent abuse. We use analytics to understand feature adoption and identify bugs.
We do not sell your personal data, run third-party ads, or embed unauthorized tracking pixels. Analytics are handled by trusted, privacy-first providers.
We may share minimal data with third-party service providers (Clerk for auth, Convex for storage, Cloudinary for image hosting, Bunny for CDN) under strict data processing agreements.
Data Retention & Deletion
Uploaded files inherit the retention policy of their hosting provider. When you delete a giftcard, associated media files are removed from our delivery network within 30 days.
Account deletion removes your personal data from our systems, though we may retain aggregated or anonymized analytics for research purposes.
We are required to retain certain data for legal and compliance reasons (e.g., transaction records for tax purposes). Such retention is limited to the minimum required by law.
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for data in transit and at rest. All servers are hosted by trusted cloud providers with SOC 2 compliance.
Access to customer data is restricted to authorized employees and contractors on a need-to-know basis. We conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
While we implement strong security measures, no system is 100% secure. Please protect your account credentials and notify us immediately of any suspected unauthorized access.
Your Rights & Choices
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can manage your account settings anytime from your dashboard.
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under privacy laws like GDPR or CCPA. Contact us at privacy@giftforyou.today to exercise these rights.
You can opt out of non-essential analytics by adjusting your privacy settings. Opting out does not affect your ability to use Gift 4U.
