Our mission
Gift 4U is built to make every celebration feel personal without printing a single card. Each digital envelope saves around two sheets of paper. By choosing virtual gifts, you're helping reduce waste and lower carbon emissions associated with traditional mail.
We're working towards including voice clips and animations so envelopes feel personal.
Terms of service
Credits are prepaid digital goods. Monthly plan allowances refresh once per billing cycle. Unused credits roll over until you cancel, or your balance reaches the cap defined by your plan.
We monitor total upload size, playback counts, and abuse flags to protect our infrastructure. Automated scraping, bulk spam messages, or reselling credit packs without consent can result in suspension.
Billing is managed by Clerk. By upgrading, you agree that subscription fees are non-refundable for the current term unless required by law.
Privacy policy
Authentication, billing identity, and payment methods are handled by Clerk. We never store your full payment details on our servers.
Giftcard metadata, titles, messages, media references are securely stored in Convex. We do not sell data, run third-party ads, or embed tracking pixels outside of essential analytics.
Uploaded files inherit the retention policy of their hosting provider. Delete an envelope and the associated assets leave our delivery network within 30 days, except where legal retention is required.
